Our present Chairman Mr. Shirish P Shah has served on various trade bodies including the post of Vice Chairman of The Gems And Jewellery Export Promotion Council (a body which is appointed and elected to advise the Government of India in framing policies for the enhancement of Gems, Diamonds and Jewellery Exports from India). Besides this he serves many philanthropic purposes related to medical and educational fields.

H. B. Technologies is fully supported by H. B. Shah Pvt. Ltd. a private limited company active in diamond trade since 1924.

H. B. Technologies was founded in 1994. Its mandate initially was to provide software tools in the jewellery industry. However it has now expanded to many application areas involving RDBMS and client server technologies.

PEOPLE INVOLVED

1. Mr. Shirish P Shah a graduate from the University of London in Mechanical Engineering and a vast experience of 40 years in the Indian and International Business, closely associated in the medical and educational fields and is instrumental in fully computerizing the activities and administration of Bhartiya Arogya Nidhi.

2. Mr. Asim S Shah a graduate from University of Bombay involved with computers since 1981. Specializes in analysis and designing of complex system. Experienced in developing software in Visual Basic, Visual FoxPro and client server based RDBMS like Oracle, SQL, latest technologies including E-Commerce, etc.

Besides these we have many more professionals all enjoying a very good reputation in the IT industry. In addition we have excellent advisory support from colleagues in the USA and Canada.
