Impelled by Extraordinary courage & conviction. Shri
P.B. Shah broke all conventions when he reached educated
Indian to take diamond cutting as a carrier, and that
too in a far off land, was almost heresy and
shows
the mettle of which Shri Popatbhai is made of many do
not know that Shri Shah was engaged in diamond cutting
in Europe for out seven years.
He was one of the pioneers in promoting the diamond
corporation of India. The first modern factory setup
to impart foremen level training. This has been the
harbinger of the expansion of the industry which supports
half a million people in India today. We are proud of
the bold initiatives and efforts which have borne so
much fruit already. Many of today's expert diamantaries
learnt their first lesson under his personal guidance.
